A mobile device app is now available to educate users about PTSD and treatments as well as help track their symptoms.
The PTSD Coach app, created by the VA's National Center for PTSD and the DoD's National Center for Telehealth and Technology (T2), was developed to assist veterans, servicemembers and civilians who are experiencing symptoms of PTSD. It features a self-assessment tool, coping tools, information on PTSD, and assistance in finding immediate support.
T2 also offers other mobile applications including Breathe2Relax, a portable stress management tool to help with mood stabilization and anxiety management.
